Ok.

It's time to come clean.

I watch Dora the Explorer. On purpose. Like, say I fall asleep watching Nick at Night (oh, Fresh Prince...you so CRAZY!! smile ) and then i wake up to Nick Jr. and Dora is on and not only do I not change the channel, I actually sit and watch. And like it.

And now I've found myself singing the backpack song as I clean and this morning, I sang "I'm the map" in the shower.

I've always been a bit of an overgrown kid, but, is this just going too far?

I never felt this guilty for watching Bear in the Big Blue House because Bear is awesome, duh!

Oh, and I have exactly 0 kids.

But, come on, am I the only one. Please tell me there is someone else out there who watches The Backyardigans or Rollie Pollie Ollie or something...

Yeah, but Spongebob is one of those shows that is clever enough to be funny for adults too.

I only watched Dora the Explorer when I lived with kids. I won't the change the channel if Sesame Street is on, though. I feel the same way about most cartoons. I've seen more episodes of Jackie Chan Adventures, Mucha Lucha, Pokemon, and Yugi-Oh then any 30 year old who isn't getting paid to do so should.

I love kids cartoons, but can't stand Dora. And Lazytown is too fucking weird for me.

But I LOVE the Backyardigans, Little Bill, and Blue's Clues. But Steve Blue's Clues. None of this Joe crap.

I love Lazytown.

I also enjoy watching the Wiggles. I'm just glad I'm not the only person who shouldn't be watching this stuff, but does anyway.

Any show that gave us the quote "Oh! I didn't realize it was happy hopping moron day!" is alright by me.

Funny you should say that... I found myself singing Bananas in Pajamas the other day when I was cleaning, and I haven't seen that show in years.
As for Dora, in our house, if anyone is doing anything we want them to stop doing (ie. if my roommate pinches me), we yell "Pincher, no pinching!" or "Tickler, no tickling!" Let's face it; it's fun. biggrin

Look around you.
There are many things to see,
That some would say could never be.
These things I know.
It's true and I will tell you so.
They are there to see, if you believe.

Trolls and wizards
and fairy kings,
Birds that talk and fish that sing.
And if your heart is true,
Then you will find them too.
In every wish and dream and happy home,
You will find a Kingdom of the Gnomes.

Schlitzveit!

I fucking LOVED that show.
