I meant that the placement has to be perfect, as per the face. Everyone is different, but put it in the wrong spot and it could look like an atrocity.

i actually had mine placed lower,closer to my lip than a traditional monroe. i think it looks better on my face.

I also had mine placed lower on my face, which was the absolute perfect placement, but unfortunately caused gum recession & I took it out. It really is a gorgeous piercing on the right person though.

I've never been overly keen on monroes, but I think any kind of body mods are all about you. So go for it, if you really want it and it'll make you happy then why should you give a fuck what I or any one else thinks of them?

I generally dislike them, however some people pull it off beautifully. Remember, in this case, smaller is better IMHO.

i think it would look really cute on you, at least from what i can tell of your profile pic. think about it a little more, find a good piercer, and try it out for a while and see how you like it. at least that's what i would do.

I got a monroe a week and a half ago and love it. Outside of work it feels great and I've gotten tons of compliments. Inside of work (very conservative hospital administration) I've become quite the gossip topic, I'm sure.

I had a tiny jewl in it and it looked silly. So now I have a small jeweled bead. I think its a 3mm bead.
