I havent completely given up alchohol but I have certainly cut way back. Got to the point that I was calling in sick every morning after I drank cause I was way too hungover and I became incredibly irresponsible and made a ton of big mistakes.
I wish big pharma would create a good hangover and liver disease free alcohol substitute. We've got boner pills and hair growth covered, so lets complete the holy trinity
Its all about knowing your limits. Unfortunately, I'm one of these people that doesn't know he's drunk. I'm just happy and talkative. And I suffer the consequences far too often and lose whole days.
That said, I stopped quite early tonight and went onto the coke....but that was more to do with the fact that I was trying to stay coherent

It's a tragedy. I need to say goodby to my good friend and confidant alcohol.
Whenever I drink these days I'm fine at the time, but ay a heavy pice the following day...hangover to the power of 10.
So that's it...enough. No more booze for this boy.
Anybody else share my pain?
after having the WORST hangover of my life today, I'm with you. I drank lots and lots of cheap beer really fast and was wasted to say the least. I passed out at 3am and woke up at 10am and could not stop until 12:30
I used to drink a lot in highschool, now that i'm 23, not so much. I had a lot of really negative alcohol related expiriences when i was younger, so perhaps the appeal alcohol is not so....uh....appealing. I will still once in a blue moon get drunk, but only when my boyfriend is there, or someone else that i trust nearly as much. I think over 2004 i got drunk about four times. That is a drastic reduction. I just am interested in it less and less....
