1.) Japanese. Nigiri sushi (tamago, maguro, toro, ebi, sake, unagi), Inari rice balls, philadelphia roll, miso soup, yakitori, somen summer noodle, ton-katsu. Mmm. Not all of that at once, mind you.

2.) Chinese. Orange chicken, honey chicken, kung-pao chicken or schezuan chicken, sweet and sour pork. Egg drop soup. Egg rolls...

After that, maybe Thai. Does Indian food count?

Thai is my favorite, followed by Szechuan-style Chinese, and Japanese close behind. I love pho, but I'm not familiar enough with other Vietnamese dishes to really offer a qualified opinion on the cuisine as a whole. I like Korean food too. There's no Indonesian place here, so I haven't had it.

If we expand this to include Indian food, that takes third place.

-Sushi.
-Chinese without the American amounts of grease.
-Indian, although somehow it's not as tasty when you can only eat fish.

Thai is really good too, but I haven't had nearly as many opportunities to eat it.

I prefer Chinese and Japanese, although I would like to try Thai and Vietnamese.

I love Japanese sweets like mochi kurabe, or anything with sweet beans.

you're making me hungry just by asking the damn question...

I could eat sushi everyday: philly rolls, shashimi, rainbowrolls...fuck, any kind of sushi with any of these ingredients: tuna, salmon, crab, roe, cucmber, avocado...

after sushi comes:
Chinese - I ♥ dim sum. I also like sweet and sour pork, peking duck, pan fried egg noodles (seafood) ...Ok theres a lot more that I don't know the names for in English.

Vietnamese - Pho Ga, Pho Bo ving (beef meatballs?), those yummy rice plates with pork

Thai - Pad thai with shrimp or chicken.

Indian and ethiopian for sure. So good, and so easily veganized.
It's my favourite to make at home too... though my injera never turns out frown

Then Japanese. Sushi (cucumber, shiitake, avocado), seaweed salads, miso soup, etc...
Chinese is good too, but too many of the restaurants around here lean towards the over north-americanised versions. Really, I'd rather just make it at home... chinese food is pretty straight forward in terms of ingredients and methods.

I like pad thai, but other than that, thai does little for me. I've never eaten vietnamese food.

edit: err.. ok, ethiopia couldn't be really ever considered asian, haha, but DAMN it's good.
