It makes me proud to be a southerner! (sort of)

He is pretty damn funny though, as evidenced by the fact that the Blue Collar Comedy Tour sold out all over the country, and not just down here.

So Foxworthy is #1 in America? Eh, that's no surprise. But as for me, I'd take the stylings of Richard Pryor or Mitch Hedberg anyday.

I for one love his standup. I have about 50 different comedy CDs in my car for road trips, and Foxworthy is included. (Not to mention David Cross, Mitch Hedberg, and Lewis Black)

It's that "Cable Guy" dude I can't fucking stand. mad mad mad

I agree, I'm a huge fan of most all types of stand up,and I think that Foxworthy, Engvall and Ron White are pretty damn funny.

I love Larry the Cable Guy.
But that's mainly cause I'm convinced that he's secretly my Uncle Bill.

I think he's fairly funny too. But that whole "I don't consider myself a comedian" thing sounded a little pretentious to me.

just because someone sells a lot of records and packs arenas, doesn't mean they are any good. america is just a cesspool of mindless consumers. they're opinion amounts to squat in the long run. just like my opinion means nothing. i mean, i'm awesome at everything i do, and no one pays attention to me... that just goes to show ya. whatever

Nope, that isn't proof he's funny. That's proof people like lowest common denominator humor.
