Once, But it is one of those substances I would rather keep in my daily diet.

I tried to stop drinking Coke because it was eating a whole in my stomach but I'm apparently quite addicted to caffeine and got terrible headaches. I'm also quite a bastard when I don't drink it... So I'm trying to ween myself off it rather than going cold turkey.

Ha, I say the same thing about smoking. "I'm weaning myself off it." With what? Lighting little sticks on fire and sticking them in my mouth?

I stopped soda about 3 days ago. I was only having one or two Diet Cokes a day, so I haven't noticed anything. But then, I've never felt anything as a result of caffiene, so I wasn't expecting a change.

Well I'm down from 2-3 L per day (which was my worst last year) to a 600 mL bottle per day. It's slowly working... sort of.

I had wicked headaches the first two nights, but today... nothing. I'm ready for a siesta though. But it's like 80 in my office, and I just ate...

Nah. More of a general health/stress management thing.

The best part is once you've kicked the habit for a decent period of time your body loses it's tolerance. After that, one pepsi worth of caffine will hit you pretty hard... It's really just a gateway drug...

I quit for a long time.
You get horrible headaches for a few weeks, but then those go away. I found I slept better off of caffeine.

And when you go back....hoooo boy, it feels all powerful and stuff again. One soda will keep you awake all night.
