Midwest Mother Syndrome

I did this before Pip came out here on vacation. Even though he has seen my room in all its cluttered mess before I still freaked out and cleaned like crazy.

In a way I guess it is a good thing his flights were changed, more cleaning time

Right now I won't let anyone in my apartment 'cause I haven't been around so much and it's naaasty in there.

What is this you speak of?

I usually manage to run the hoover round and shove all my books out of the way so there's floor space. And as long as the bathroom smells pine fresh, I don't tend to stress about it.

Unless they're new friends. For new friends I go a bit funny and tidy to the point where Mrs SqueakyShoes says "why don't you tidy up like this when you know I'm coming round?" Even the windows get a clean...usually that's the rain's job.

Well, I am pretty tidy, but yes, when I know I am having guest...I clean like a mofo and still i find things that are dirty.. that makes me sad.
