hey, what's going on. I'm currently writing a novel where the main character is from Portland, Oregon, and while I was able to write my ass off about New York City since I have been there, I haven't been to Portland.
so what I'm asking of you people who live in Portland to please e-mail or post pictures on here of your favorite places in Portland to go. if you can get me favorite hipster hangouts, coffee places, popular bars/concert venues, clothing shops, and almost more important, pictures of the interior of PDX International Airport, since some sequences in the book revolve around airports.
any help in this would greatly benefit my story and its accuracy in the descriptions of the city once I start that part of the novel.
also, any amusing anecdotes or cute people/things that have happened in some of the spots that you have pictures of would greatly help me so I could possibly work them into the story. if your story or picture makes it, I'll send you the snippet of description that I used so you can understand how much your help means to me.
