Passing kidney stones and cysts on my ovaries rupturing at the same time. Didn't go to doctor or ER. Nothing they can do. Just have to wait. Had no pain meds. Had to go to work. Then got laid off from work.

Yay. No.

Somebody is wiping some terrible karma on you. When you come north again we will cleanse it away with good food, booze and maybe another viewing of The Big Lebowski.

It is really a tie up between labor pains and waking up a few hours after having the baby and realizing that my taint had been cut, and then had actually torn, all the way up to my ass.

For the record, this doesn't come close to half the examples above...

It was the morning of my 16th birthday. I had a stitch in my side so bad that we thought it was appendicitis. It turned out to be some pretty wretched food poisoning. Ugh.

Getting an IUD inserted by a resident who'd never done it before. It took everything I had not to kick her in the face before I tried to pass out.

Yes, Migranes are up there for me too. Fuckers. You can't do anything when you have a migrane.

Strep throat. Felt like I was swallowing glass for a week and a half.
Second place: UTI. Had one in August '95. I remember the exact month because it was something I would not wish on my worst enemy.

Having double pneumonia and my neighbor blasting Kid rock tunes. That was pain.

physical: I accidentally put my hand through a glass storm door when I was 9 years old (the wind caught the door while I was closing it), and the glass cut almost all the way through my tendon on my right wrist. I was lucky it wasn't cut all the way, they said. Otherwise it would've meant major surgery.

i got carpal tunnel way early, awful cortisone injections as well, nerve damage, maybe a little arthritis. Sometimes it aches so bad I can feel it halfway up my arm. Apparently your wrist is a shitty place to get injured, because of the massive amount of nerves in there. Fun. I want a bionic hand, goddammit!!!!!!!

emotional: giving up someone who really loved me and treated me amazingly to go back to someone just because I had been with them for so long, and I felt like I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try it one more time. So even worse, I did it to myself. It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life; I think about it everyday. The guy I gave up won't even talk to me anymore.

I've broken so many bones, had a concussion, blah blah blah but the worst by far was when I cracked a rib in a bike accident. Right in front, next to my sternum. Couldn't breathe, couldn't laugh, couldn't move. It was awesome.
