My friend Jeni was my best man. My wife had her friend Mike as maid of honor, only he demanded to be called, attendant of honor. I say fuck it. You were the Maid of Honor Mike. ARRR!!!

I really like the idea of breaking down the gender rules for wedding parties. I don't want groomsmen, I just want some of my good friends up there--guys, girls, trannies, animals, I don't care. But I don't even have a g/f, so why do I even bother thinking about this stuff?

a couple i know (and attended thier wedding in 2002) had 1 girl and like 7 guys each. and they each picked how they dressed. the grooms crew all had black/black w/ white shirts - FBI style. and the brides all had that loge "Matrix" gear with the 'priest-like' (non)collars. the girl on each side just dressed how thel liked.

it was pretty cool.
