Yes, I read the book after I saw the movie. I think the movie is good, which is lucky because often they trash it when they convert them, eh?

Ja, I did the same thing (movie then book), I found that the movie was just a different way to show the story... doing a direct book to movie transfer... probably would have ended up being a) unprofitable b) harder to swallow.

But, thats just me.
