i don't have one. i share a pallet on the floor. we put a couple blankets & pillows for the night and snore, then put stuff off to the side during the day.

queen for me.

I share a full with Bluetrust and without fail we are joined by a small gray cat in between our pillows and a huge gray cat on the backs of my knees.

To those who asked the question about California Kings:

A Standard King is 4 inches wider than a California King.
A California King is 4 inches longer than a Standard King.

A Cali king is sometimes called a 'western king', and a standard king is the same width as two twins put together.

Queen, shared with a french bulldog and sometimes a tabby or two until the dog chases them off. My dog doesn't like other humans in the bed getting attention so I think I'm screwed and will end up never having sex at my place ever again.

Many times, though, I end up crashing out ona the very comfy sofa in my living room (read: when I get drunk and watch Fresh Prince of Bel-Air while lounging on the sofa in my panties) (and yes, this is how I spend many I night) (understand now why I'm single?)

Four inches longer you say. I need a long bed. I barely fit on this queen here.

I can't sleep in anything smaller than a queen, I'm all legs and I hate when my toes dangle off the end of the bed.

We (and the cat) have a queen. We used to have a full, but that was just too damned small. Although somehow the cat always ends up with half. I always feel lost in a king, it's just two big . . . for two, anyway.

though it does allow me to keep one pillow on one side (for when i'm sleeping on my front) and two on the other (for when i'm sleeping on my back) which is nice.

Queen, but probably the most comfortable mattress you'll ever sleep on, and it's all mine.

I share a king size bed. I don't like someone laying on me instead of the bed.

really? i could swear i have a caliking, but it's definitely the same width as 2 twins put together...maybe it's all the weird looking western-style wood of the head and footboards. ?

also, it doesn't matter how big the bed is if the person sharing it with you is:
a)a blanket thief;
b)addicted to your warm body and being pasted to the side of it;
c)somehow magically both a. and b.

ah futons. i had one for years. i swear they don't break UNTIL you have sex on them. They're good for one use only.

Now I have a double. Its actually the first real mattress I've ever had in my whole life.

queen all to myself except on certain nights

if it ever fucking comes (after 6 weeks, hopefully saturday), a queen. i dont need a king as i am thin and usually alone. right now my temporary bed is a futon, which serves its purpose well. hell, ive been sleeping on it the last week in the couch position.
