i'm trying to remember the name of a line of tshirts that were popular in the mid 90s, around the same time that everyone was wearing those tacky "co-ed naked" shirts. these were all about proving your eXXXtremeness. they would say things like "life is hard. play harder"... stuff along those lines, but really cheesy.

anyone remember?

God yes. Those, Panama Jack, Co-Ed Naked, and Big Johnson shirts were really popular at my high school. The Co-Ed Naked and Big Johnson shirts got banned, though.

One of the great truisms of life is that the guy with the "NO FEAR" t-shirt is the scaredest dude around.

I had "He who dies with the most toys, still dies" and "Limits, we don't need no stinkin limits". Such a hardcore 8th grader I was.

I can honestly say I never owned any of the aforepictured t-shirts. I opted for solid-color, plain hanes T-shirts. Of course, I wasn't cool...

I remember one kid from my class wearing one of those No Fear shirts and thinking to myself, "But aren't you a pussy?"

I also remember my mom coming home wearing a Big Dog t-shirt and thinking she was the new queen of cool. I didn't have the heart to tell her they were 3 years out of fashion.

We sold those when I worked at Pacific Sunwear. I think it had baggy pants skater guys fighting aliens.

My family was poor. The only cheesy namebrand clothing I would get was:

Interestingly enough, No Fear vinyl stickers are still quite prolific as Toyota-truck rear-window flair 'round these parts.

Glad they didn't make those shirts in my size, I may have ended up wearing one. I like my shirts to say stuff like this.

Fat people are hard to kidnap

If you choked a smurf, what color would he turn?

and

Dip me in chocolate and through me to the lesbians
