Mitch Hedberg Dead?

i saw him in january. i'm really glad i got the chance.

I am fucking devestated...but sadly not all that suprised really.

I saw Mitch last year and he was so fucked up for his set that he could barely speak...repeating the same jokes over and over, etc. It was a pretty bad scene.

Regardless he was still easily one of my favorite comedians of all time, and was a super nice dude when I met him. A lot of guys have totally bit his style in the last couple years...but nobody could come CLOSE to even comparing with him.

I need to go light up some cinnamon roll incense.

Mitch is dead. Is not an April Fool's "joke". He died yesterday in NJ.

and it is very sad. but at the same time.. anyone who is surprised by this obviously never saw his stand up.

Jesus Christ. I just found out how incredibly funny this guy is like less than a month ago.

NJ ruins everything

I heard the news this morning from a co-worker who knew I was a fan, and I just didn't want to believe her.

NJ made me!!!!

as sad as i am right now, that gave me a chuckle...
i'm off to brush up on my AA,BB,CCs...

i wanted to buy a candleholder but the store didn't have one... so i got a cake.

when i first saw this guy's hour special on comedy central, the first 5 minutes, i didnt know what to think of him. i didnt really likre him that much. then like, a minute later, i all of a sudden understood him. he was one of a kind, very funny. and he will definitly be missed.
