Ok...stories about Truck.

When I take truck out, people flock to him like he is some sort of dog messiah. People light up when they come to pet him. I've often said that Truck should be present at any big political debate or treaty signing. Everyone would end the day hugging and making S'mores.

I was at the dog park with him a couple sunday's ago and some woman comes up to me and says "Is that Truck?" and I say "yes" and she said "My friend saw him outside Jo's Coffee last week and called and told me about him"

My dog is a rock star and I am merely his roadie

That totally makes sense to me. Do you have any more photos of truck? I would like to see him frolicking about in the park or something.

Haha! The same thing happens with our ferrets. Everytime I walk one of them, people always gather around and want to hold them and pet them, little kids want to ask questions. Someone will get on their cellphone and tell someone they just petted a ferret. It's weird.

Hmmm---I can't say the same thing about taking my boa out for a walk. Sometimes it scares the shit out of people. But little kids, under the age of about 4, are usually pretty fascinated. But then there is always some a-hole who is like "hey man--lemme wear it!". I never do. So I usually try to find more secluded areas to take him--I am sure there is an idiotic lawsuit brewing for "emotional distress" that I may have caused.

so I'm adding to "photographer" in addition to "roadie" in my list of things I do for that dog

I know-Pugs are also rulers of the Universe-but I am in the same boat with you. A few years ago I had to give my cat to a good friend because I was just never home and it felt so unfair. It really bummed me out.

If i could make my male dog have babies, that alone would be something worth taking note of

Hermit crabs are cool...I had a blue moon crab for a while, her name was "Priscilla--Queen of the Ocean". Unfortunately she died during a difficult molting period. I'm a Cancer, and so I immortalized her image in ink on my forearm.
