Today is my birthday and I'm a recovering loser.

While I canceled plans that could have been absolutely fun, with a TON of single girls, I decided to hang out at home.

My birthday is great today because I'm home alone and it's all about me. I don't have to deal with anything, or anyone.

I can play the music however loud I want.
I can be as naked as I want.
I can even be as drunk as I want!

I always thought that your birthday was the ONE day out of the whole year that you could do any goddamn thing you wanted to. My last one, I went to the Museum of Glass and took photos all by myself, and didn't say a word to anyone. It was great.

My last birthday (last month) was a great one. On the night before, I went up to Manhattan for a party at the home of a girl I used to work with. We still hang out from time to time (even though she's in NYC and I'm in Philly) and her b-day is the same as mine. I had a blast, and didn't get home until five in the AM.

The next day (the actual b-day) I somehow got out of bed at 9:30 and went down to the Buccaneers/Eagles game at The Vet. Great game, we all got really fucked up, and the Eagles won.

All in all, it was a great birthday weekend.


ps - tomorrow at The Vet is gonna be evil ... wind chills in the teens, and wind gusts up to 40 mph. I've already packed the ChapStick.

When I turned 15 my older friend Bob brought me a really fine boy who looked EXACTLY like David Bowie...fun fun fun.

last birthday was pretty cool, since it was the week before i left for England and so my whole family (grandparents, cousins, family friends, you name it) came into town.

my favorite b'day story, though, was lovely number 21: i pissed on the Old State Capitol in Iowa City, nearly got arrested for stealing promotional posters, and woke up the next morning on my living room floor with a shoe for a pillow and my glasses in the freezer.

I make each one of my birthdays a chase for my friends. They have to try and find me whereever I am in the world. Been doing that since I turned 16 and I haven't gotten caught since (it's been very close each year thought).

Typically I leave 1 week before my bday to some location/airport. This year one group of my friends (local area) had the checkin counter at the local international airport call them when I checked in but I had left before they got there but they knew that I was heading to Ottawa. So they had a little road trip (about 10 of them) and they met up with my friends in Ottawa. They caught me at a club 3 minutes past midnight the day after my bday tooo close.
In the past I've gone Kayaking in Nunavut/Hudson's Bay, a trip to China (that was a close one as well cause of Hong Kong), LA, India, France/Germany, and...Kayaking upstream on the Algonquin.

Overall, I'd say that having your friends try to track you down is insanely fun because you see them every couple days and there's a little chase.

The reason they chase me is cause I goto every single one of their bdays but there's only a handful that have been to mine _ever_.

Oh yeah...it's always good to go skydiving on your bday.

last birthday- pretty uneventful. some friends came to visit me. got my FIRST monroe piercing (motherfucking adriano talking me into getting fishtail-back jewelry...) and fucking denny's wouldn't give me free food.

I got drunk, watched the extended LOTR, tooted eve's horn, and had sex for two hours, thats all I remember.
It was a lot of fun

my last birthday was the best birthday i've ever had. i went to a party with all of my closest friends and some wonderful boys from philly. i proceeded to get very shitfaced. then i decided that i wanted to make out with everyone at the party. which i did. made out with about 11 girls and about 8 boys. tripple, quadruple kisses. makng out in the bathroom with hot boys and girls. lots of shakin' of the booty. sandwiched between a boy and a girl [oooh my favorite]. i got to make out both with the boy i had major hotts for and the girl that he was fucking at the time which gave me immense satisfaction. and then to top the night off falling down the stiars and hurting my ankle. THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!

15: friends bailed on me . . . all with different excuses . . . and went to hangout with some guys, who in turn called to see what the shit was going on.

18: friends (new ones) convince me to have a party. they all get drunk at dinner. two people show up.

16: boyfriend fucks best friend. friends eat too much acid and one finds jesus (btw, he is jewish).

21: in general hysterics caused by the death of one of my favorite people . . . then, jenny (big crush) slepped with mara . . . and they moved intogether.


BEST BIRTHDAY EVER:
20: party at the big house, rolanda and frannie bring presents. frannie bakes brownies. leslie and david make cake. mike clark spinns special set for me. i pick up sweet boyfriend after work at 3am and go home to have tons of sex.

actually . . . that was the only really GOOD birthday . . . but some of the others didn't suck too bad.
