I never dance in public. Never. I avoid "clubs" and I see a lot of people dancing that remind me of why I don't dance, but more power to them for being comfortable enough to do that.

industrial/goth kids always dance by themself. there is no way to even dance with anyone when you are looking for your contact.

tonight i went out to go dancing all by myself.

i used to all the time, to mainly drum 'n' bass clubs. i'd go with friends too other times, but to drum 'n' bass, you don't really dance necessarily with the other people, so either way it's the same thing.

i stopped because i kept stepping on my toes.

Sometimes when I'm alone in my apartment I like to do a slow, sexy striptease for my stuffed animals.

Since I quit drinking I will definitely not be dancing in public anymore.....I hardly would be loose enough to dance in public even when really drunk....

I usually end up dancing by myself at a goth/industrial club and with friends at a regular club or wedding or whatever. Something about industrial music leaves it very hard to dance with others. I think it's because of the style of dancing.

I dance everywhere -- the car, my bedroom, my living room, the grocery store if a cool song comes on (I don't really DANCE, but it's hard to keep still).

Here where I live it's all American GI's at the clubs. We girls call that move the "GI Bootie Grind".

I love to go out dancing, I go pretty much every weekend. At home in the states I went to mostly goth/industrial clubs, it's sort of expected that you dance with yourself. Here, I am learning to dance with other people.

i love to dance round my house..turn the music up really loud and dance.

i once had a horrible experience when in a club, me and a few friends were dancing and it was pretty packed, there was a group of guys behind us, at one point i turned round to see the guy behind me with his hand down his trousewrs, i turned round abut 5 minutes later and saw that 3 or so of the guys were wanking in the middle of the dancefloor......

I don't dance in public because... I can't dance.

But when I'm by myself, I love turning up the music and dancing around the house like an idiot.

I am posting again because I forgot to say I dance like crazy in the shower, until I just took a shower.

I've done it a couple times with success. Just hanging out and dancing and manage to meet a few folks. Then I'm not dancing by myself any longer

Oh, and for the record, I don't dance in public or in private, because I look stupid when I try, and I hate looking stupid. And I hate dancing. Which pretty much makes it a no-win scenario.
