I first laid eyes on Jennifer Herrema at a Weird War show in the fall of 2003. She crawled on stage in the middle of a song called "If You Can't Beat 'Em, Bite 'Em," and began rapping the refrain in a hoarse, smoke-cured rasp that made the beer bottles dance on the counter. She had a crazy tan and overgrown peroxide bangs from behind which peered the cutting amber eyes of a shewolf. Her eyebrows were bleached albino blond and her eyelashes weighed down by thick white...

man, i bought an old beat up inde mag a few years ago and they had story of royal trux in it. i thought Jennifer looked so cool, i went and bought their albums "royal trux" and "cats and dogs" because thats all i could find. i fell in love. this article is awesome, ive wondered what she's been up to! thanks!! kiss kiss

dude! youre the music editor. she was in Royal Trux and now shes in RTX (different band).

let me be the music editor. i want i want i want. biggrin

but yeah check out Royal Trux... i like the albums 'Pound For Pound' and 'Cats and Dogs' the best.

haha, understood...

but really, i highly recommend looking into them. they've put out some questionable albums, but their best stuff is great hazy criminal rock swagger...
