A woman at a fast food restaurant bit off more than she could chew Tuesday night while eating at the local Wendy's in San Jose, California. After feeling a strange object in her mouth while eating a nice warm bowl of chili, the unlucky diner spit what turned out to be a human finger, complete with nail, onto her tray.

The woman, who asked officials not to identify her, immediately spit out the finger and warned other diners to stop eating, witnesses said.

"Initially she did put this object in her mouth and did bite down on it and wasn't sure exactly what it was," Santa Clara County Health Officer Dr. Martin Fenstersheib said at a news conference. "She's doing OK. Initially she was a bit grossed out it was described to me, and vomited a number of times."

At least the chili was low in carbs.

Does it explain how the finger got there? Or how big were the fucking spoonfuls of chili this woman was eating that she didn't notice a fucking finger?

Wendy's: We not only give you shitty food, but we provide you with a purging service as well. We're lending a helping hand, one severed finger at a time.

I smell bullshit. In these lawsuit ages, what factory anywhere would an employee not sue the balls of anything that looked at their fingers funny, let alone removed one and deposited it in the "Wendy's Chili" container?

So that was true!!!
Our lovely SG Muse Miss Presley, posted something about that last night
on our other gossip webfest--- myannoyingspace.com!!

The best part of the T.V. interview with the woman,
Miss Presley said, was that while she was discussing it ..
there was a kid in the background who was ordering chili anyways..

when asked..
he said something to the effect that
it still tasted good... so who cares??!!
ah youth!

Employees at the Wendy's were checked and the fingertip didn't come from any of them, officials said

surreal

This is foul. There's a tiny possibility of it leading onto a bigger scandal though. None of the supplier factories list any accidents, so maybe Wendy's or their suppliers have been given a batch of dodgy cheap meat?

The finger must have come in the chili sauce stuff. Wendy's -- at least 9 years ago -- would have us put the burger meat that was sitting on the grill too long (we were to grill meat based on anticipated demand, sometimes we were wrong) in a tray, which would later by cut up and put in with the chili mix, to cook for some amount of hours.
