Sparta is one of the best bands on a major label right now. Their latest album is Porcelain and these four guys, Jim Ward, Tony Hajjar, Paul Hinojos, and Matt Miller are kicking ass and taking names in their brand new tour which just kicked off. This band is one of the greats in my opinion! If anything good came from the break up of ATDI this band is it. A bit of an abrupt ending to that interview.

so what you are saying then, is that both the mars volta and sparta are not good? I will have to disagree. I think that now we get the best of both worlds, insane mind fucks from the mars volta and tasty poppy goodness from sparta. sure ATDI rocked my socks off but one has to be positive about things.

ADTI absolutely rocked and They had not to break up!!! anyway I must say the atmospheres of wiretap scar (sparta's first Lp) always put me in the best mood. Sparta are definitely one of the best emoband ever.
