I just received this email through myspace:

"you may have no idea who this is and then again you may. you have known me since i was like 4 and you were the hottest 12 year old EVER... I idolized you and your red curls. you made me a shell at my 5th birthday party that i still have somewhere in my room."

The sender was my little sister's {edit: female!} childhood best friend and I nearly cried laughing, thought maybe you might, too. Very funny and cute (even though it seemingly starts out creepy!).

I've randomly run into two people I know on this site, not having seen one of them since Junior year of high school. My internet is really weird.

Why do you think I remember his name after all these years?

One time he stuck a pen in the pencil sharpener and made sparks fly off like fireworks. Then he had to sit in the back of the class. Oh my word, I had such a crush on him...

And it's broken half the time.

AND a quarter of the time, people's profiles have those goddamned music videos linked up that start playing by themselves, and you have to scroll to find them to shut them the hell up....though sometimes it's too late and a speaker is blown.
