Godflesh is over but don’t despair because Godflesh frontman Justin Broadrick has reinvented his sound, teamed with drummer Ted Parsons from Swans and Killing Joke and Diarmuid Dalton on bass. It’s slow, heavy and often melodic. It’s a real change that will satisfy old and new fans alike.

Check out the official website for Jesu

Daniel Robert Epstein: Did you come up with the idea for this new collaboration?

Jesu: It was my idea after splitting up Godflesh. While recording the last Godflesh...

Such an awesome band. I love Godflesh and Jesu is just the next logical step. Much appreciated.

Broadrick has also been knocking out a few drum&bass 7"s and 12"s under the name Tech Level 2.

I listen to a lot of dnb, as well as guitary stuff... if you even like drum&bass, you will flip over these. REALLY good.

Tech Level 2 & Soundmurderer - split 12" - 'whowanseekwar?' on SHOCKOUT records.

Um.. ok, i cant remember the other info at the mo...

Interesting article. I think I'll have to check out those bands. I'm interested to hear what Jesu sounds like given the way it was made.

very very cool. i've been a godflesh fan since streetcleaner, and in my opinion, they had kind of faded a bit in the last couple records. i think the fresh start is just what Broadrick needed - the record is excellent. so sad and majestic...

I wasn't a huge fan of the LP but the Silver EP is amazing for sure.
