Our members from across the pond have already had a chance to form their opinions on Kasabian. The Leicester indie dance-rock quartet's self-titled debut, released in the U.K. in September of 2004, won the band a top 10 album there and a handful of equally well-received singles with “LSF”, “Processed Beats”, “Club Foot”, and “Cutt Off”. Now the band, named after Manson-family getaway driver Linda Kasabian, are attempting to repeat that success in the States. Bassist Chris Edwards and I spoke on...

so far, i've just heard "club foot" and it's a kick ass track. can't wait to hear more. they remind me a lot of Primal Scream. i hope they headline their own shows here in the U.S. right now they're opening for The Music whom I hate.

Glad this album's getting some recognition in a forum like this where it can be pushed and appreciated by an audience who is capable of actually embracing it. I've been into these guys for about a year now, and it'll be slick if they feel they're totally embraced by this continent.

Thank you! This was my first interview in a year and a half, so it was a bit of a warm up. The next ones in the queue are much better.

P.S. The header image was photoshopped for me by former member Seska. So thanks to her.
