Ever since they talked of this movie more than five years ago I have been hoping it would never get off its feet. Why the FUCK would Bryan Singer leave the X-Men films for this shit??

This is one of those movies that has been delayed again & again. They kept handing the script to different people (i.e. Kevin Smith... I'm so glad he didnt get it... might've been hokey inasmuch as he is in the comic world) , so the leading actors would leave. At one time, Nicholas Cage... argh.

I suppose I'll never get why people like the Superman movies. They were just as hokey and detrimental to the comic book medium as the Adam West Batman tv series. Sure, it's cute if you're eight-years-old or being "ironic," but watching them as an adult and still liking 'em for serious reals?

Meh. I like my Luthor without a bumbling buffoon of a sidekick.
