Yeah! Good job getting him, good job on the interview, hell good job managing to say "Hello!" - even if I could have gotten him at "Hello", I don't think I could have said it .

This was a interview where a filmmaker was actually asked about his films instead of gossip. For people who are fans of his WORK, this was very welcome.

Charles Manson wrote great songs and Hitler wasn't a bad artist, so should we forgive them? See them as misunderstood artists? Or let a scumbag be a scumbug simply because he/she is eccentric (being soft)? Lets welcome them shall we?

I hope my book gets published and becomes a huge hit, becuase there are a lot of orphan girls as a result of that tsunami, i would really love to adopt a wife.....

He didn't. Mia Farrow adopted her along with about 8 million other people. He was never married to Mia Farrow, so there is no relation between them.

I'm not saying that makes it all just fine and dandy, but come on...don't fill this thread with this crap. The man makes some damn fine movies, and it sounds like he's gotten back on top of his game, which is great.

Wow. This is my favourite interview ever and I really would have never expected to see it here. This has made me so unbelievably happy. And I do wonder if Woody ever looks at the SGs now and again. Somehow I imagine that he would be all shocked and appalled by it like Mickey in regards to Holly at the punk concert in "Hannah and Her Sisters", but it would please me immensely to know otherwise.

Woody Allen is very inspirational to me, i learned alot from him, his interview pointed out a few things i didn't know about, im a amateur director/writer and he has alot of experience with the business and has made wonderful movies, he's amazing.
if i had to say who inspired me to make my own movies, i'd say Woody Allen.

Good interview! Woody has made more good comedies than anybody I can think of--especially the ones with Diane Keaton, and _Deconstructing Harry_. People should lay off of Woody--who one loves is nobody's business. Mia Farrow is too uptight, and the comedies she is in are not nearly as good as the ones with Diane Keaton.
