This is an interview I NEVER thought I'd see here- this surprises me even more than John Digweed- by leaps and bounds.

This was fantastic, Daniel- great questions. He doesn't do much press- and this was face-to-face, not even a phone interview!

This guy spins pure gold- I've been enjoying his work since I was like 8 or 9 years old- way before I took a class at NYU film school where we got to screen and write essays on his films. I'll be the first in line to catch this one...

Allen is the man. Despite what may have happened in his private life, he is a brilliant artist and his work stands on its own.

Thanks for the interview. Woody Allen has always been an inspiration to me. I have a lot of respect for the man - as a comedian, he's like Charlie Chaplin. He's good at a certain character, and he's damn good at it. Even better, he doesn't apologize to those who accuse him of "playing himself."

Not only that, he writes AMAZING roles for actors. He brings out something completely different in actors, and he trusts them - Sean Penn, Tim Roth, Alan Alda, Martin Landaou, Mia Farrow, Jennifer Tilly, etc. They are at the top of their game in his pictures. Often, they're never as good as that again. Kudos to Woody Allen.
