Cary Elwes was beyond the valley of the bad in Saw.

That was literally the worst movie I have ever seen.

Yeah, well, you know what? Princess Bride. There, he breaks even just with that.

This is true.

The Princess Bride is the best movie every actor that participated will ever have been in.

Come on. Christopher Guest [the six fingered man]? Spinal Tap, Best In Show, etc, etc..

"These fingers go to eleven."

The Princess Bride > Best in Show.

(And I've never seen Spinal Tap, so there you go with that. blackeyed )

i laughed at half of that movie..
Danny Glover as well, handing in quite probably the worst thing i've ever seen him do.
I know people who liked that film...... i really think i must see the world through different eyes... if that film is good.

i can't stand this stupid gimmick. does this actually serve the meaning of the film, or is it just cool?

Maybe it'll describe the trippy unreality of his existence?

I hope they don't cock up this film. It was, for some years, my favourite book. I didn't like the music on the trailer.

Official order:

Princes Bride < Spinal Tap < Waiting for Guffman < Best in Show < A Mighty Wind.

In actuality, Spinal Tap is probably a more clever movie, but I didn't watch it eleven billion times when I was a kid, so it's just not as good, end of story.

Wait wait wait, are we saying that The Princess Bride is <less than> A Mighty Wind, or is the list going backward? Because if it's the former, I'm afraid it just does not compute. shocked

I don't know how that happened. I'm really really stupid. Yeah, reverse it.

I sat through the whole thing simply because I was unable to comprehend that it was so bad. It was like staring a the remains of a horrible plane wreck and praying for surviors - you wait for a ray of hope, but in the back of your mind you knew it wasn't coming. blackeyed

Being a huge Dick fan, I'm both nervous and excited. Nervous about Keanu, I mean the few lines he utters in the trailer are horrible. Robert Downey Jr. as Barris is perhaps brilliant casting, if you know the story at all.

I like my Philip K. Dick (thats, Pee-Dick to you... JFC, what an unfortunate name for a paranoid author), with as little cheese as possible... unfortunately, with the exception of Ridley Scott, everyone just fucks it up. Keanu? The sad man is going to be playing matrix-like action heros for ages to come... Woah.
