smoking doesn't make you look as cool as a big hard-on does.

I'm also trying to think of good reasons to quit. Not that the above aren't great reasons, but that's just how addictive these goddamn things are. I think the thing I coughed up the other day is pretty persuasive, though; he's already eaten most of my food in the fridge.

Usually I get laughed at less when I smoke in bars.

Where as in California smoking will probably get you booted from a bar fster than sporting enough wood to build a log cabin...

I want to quit and my body decided recently that it is time. I get nausea and dizzy after each one now.

coming soon to California... no reading in libraries or parking in parking lots.

going to bars is all about drinking and smoking. if it wasn't, we'd just call them "rooms where you pay twice as much for shit you could buy at the store".

Funny thing is, the reasons are right there. But then again, it's five minutes of salvation at your beckon call.

I used a really great company called Quitters, INC. Hard for my wife to type semicolons now, but I've never felt better!

I was all about quitting a while back. I told myself that I would only smoke when I was drinking. Didn't work out as well as I hoped cause now I just drink a lot more.

I'm still smoke free! Like, 3 weeks! My hands hardly stop shaking long enough to type and I feel like vomiting all over everything, but other than that, it's going great!

serious. you dont think about how readily available cigarettes are until its 3am and you've run out to the gas station a block away to buy a pack.

ugh. ok. day one of not smoking starts today. this will last 2 days until i visit Roby and get rat-assed on Jack&Coke.

true, personally i cant stand smoking, but dont think it should be banned from bars as no body forces me to go there. If I get ill from it then its my fault for going there, as long as people dont blow smoke right in my face im happy

Why would you want to get it up when you guys are old, anyway?
Shouldn't you be all about, you know, spiritual matters or something by that age?

how many times do you people have to be told that those laws are for people who work in bars, not bar patrons. the bartender can't just leave when she's sick of the smoke, you know.
