I didn't find a group dedicated to militaria collectors...so I'll just ask here. If there is anyone who is into that...or knows anything about dealers in that area, I could use a hand.
I have a piece that I'd like to move and I'm rather naive when it comes to pricing or even where to bring such an item. I won't discuss the specific item publicly on the boards...but I will say that it is a WWII-era timepiece. You can contact me privately for specific information.
You could always E-Bay. Ther'es a place online I think it was called something militaria. I collect Iron and Knights Crosses myself

if it's a time peice, i'd take it to a jewler, to get an apraissal on the value that way. then maybe check with a local army/navy surpluss store for direction on a collector.
if it's WWII german, DO NOT sell it on Ebay. clickie

I saw a bunch of those iron crosses once. WWII through Russian eyes.
Brave Soviet soldiers ripped them from the dead bodies of nazis. The Great Patriotic War.
Well the Germans ripped off Orders of Lenin from dead Soviet soldiers. It was just war trophies. Take for instance the 82nd Airborne Division. Their arm patches were highly prized war trophies in the Wehrmacht. Even more so among the SS who really liked to fight them.
I am so into this kind of stuff oddly enough. Wish I could also like afford to buy some of it hehe.
(and snag some more of it from what my uncle took from his dad hah.)
Yup. War trophies.
Theres still a giant silken full size nazi flag somewhere about here if my uncle didn't ditch it or my cousin didn't get that...
