The end of La Bamba. The part where Ritchie's brother (Bob) is working on a car, and hears on the radio that he died.

That and the end of Steel Magnolias.

i have cried during the nightmare before christmas and the iron giant consecutively

the bit where sally's singing about jack "i think there's something in the wind, that feels like tragedy's at hand, And though I'd like to stand by him, can't shake this feeling that I have, The worst is just around the bend"

and the bit where the iron giant flies up and detonates the atomic missile with his face ... "you stay, i go, no following"

who'd have thought vin deisel could make someone cry? through his acting i mean, i'm sure he could make me cry if he punched me in the eye

please let it be noted, as a red blooded heterosexual meat eating male, that in fact i was big and tough and masculine when i was crying through those animated films like a hentai japanese schoolgirl

Slutz in the City? Ya I don't like her either. The show IS funny sometimes though. But only sometimes; rambling girl problems can only get so interesting...

I cried at the end of "Pay It Forward." I tried not to, but I was all alone at the time anyway, and just said to hell with it.

When I was like 5, and I used to watch the Simpsons, when Homer ate that poisonous fish in the Chinese restaurant? Remember that? I came running out of my room crying, "Homer's dead, Momma!!" And she came in and watched it with me after the commercial break when he comes back to life.

Phew.

You know, sometimes I joke about feeling old, but... fuck, I feel old now.

Five-year-olds watching The Simpsons... hell, there are people alive now who weren't even born yet when the show started.

Talk about wanting to cry.

I'm not trying to be Mr. Alpha Male, but I've never cried at a movie. I've gotten really choked up, and shed a tear or two, but I've never bawled like a kid with a skinned knee.

for informational purposes, here are those movies.

1. Field of Dreams - when Kevin Costner's character gets to play catch with his dead father.

2. Braveheart - When William Wallace yells "FREEDOM"

3. Saving Private Ryan - When Private Ryan asks his wife at the end if he's led a good life.

I couldn't even begin to list the movies/shows I cry over.

(And I'm with O. I love Big, and I love Sex and The City.)

Okay you film nerds are gonna eat this one up . . . " Punch Drunk Love " Adam sandler is pretty much a kook in real life , but this movie got me in a million different ways . I think I could relate to the character a little more than I should be telling to a bunch of strangers smile oink

The end of "Never Been Kissed," when the guy is running down the field to go kiss Drew Barrymore when everyone thought he wasn't coming for her... that ending gets me every time and it doesn't help when the guitar starts plucking as the beach boys play "don't worry baby". perfect moment for it. i'm a goon, I know...

I cried watching another Drew Barrymore flick -- Riding in Cars with Boys. Some of those things hit too close to home.

there are several more but they don't come to mind.

oh i always cry at the end of hedwig and the angry inch when hedwig's wig is off and tommy is singing to him, not to mention when hedwig rips up yitzak's passport.

i cried during bowling for columbine, but that's totally understandable.

i cried the other night listening to sleater kinney.

i am just a big sook.
