Grant Morrison is a very well known name to SuicideGirls. In fact people have been bugging me for years to get an interview with him on here. Well now it’s done and I’ve asked him all my burning questions. We talked about drugs, comics such as his new book for DC Comics called Seven Soldiers, some sex and going to school for the orange juice.

Check out the official site for Grant Morrison

Daniel Robert Epstein: Hey Grant, are you taking a break from work today?

Grant Morrison: I wish I could...

grant morrison is super-cool. i love his stuff. his public persona is ... interesting. it's part cool fanboy, part postmodern facade. but it seems to *fit* him.

Morrison's Ragged Robin is my alter ego in so many ways it's uncanny. We even have the same birthday. And the things he wrote for King Mob and Robin...sometimes I blush. blush

Great interview!

I hope to one day eat his flesh and absorb his off-kilter narrative stylings.

DRE -- this is definitely one of your best interviews.

I'm only now really getting into Morrison's work and this has just fueled my desire to read it.

What a great interview. Daniel covered a lot of great and thorough areas that contributed to my understanding of Grant's canon. Nice.

Animal Man is one of my comics blindspots. It wasn't in print and the issues were too hard to find. Must go get trades.

I like his interpretations of chaos magick. He takes A.O. Spare and makes some sense of the concepts. Grant's "Pop Magick!" article in Disinfo's Book of Lies is probably the best and most digestable piece in that one.

Really good interview. The IF? and pop mag!c are still coming out? I figured those projects had died.

Grant Morrison kicks ass. I bought his entire run on Doom Patrol in a bundle pack and halfway through reading it, I thought I was going insane. surreal
