So it's a coincidence that the average blue state has better educated voters than the average red state? An individual's politics may not determine the smartness of a state, but a group of well educated voters will be more likely to realize when they're being lied to and less likely to vote against their own class interest. I'm writing this not so much as a 'fuck Bush' comment, as a 'let's not ignore some basic truths' comment.

New Mexico is last, of course, which as a whole probably does make sense. It can be like a 3rd world country in some parts here.

Of course, other parts are "smarter" than any other state. Like, the city where I work which has more PhD's per capita than any other place on Earth.

It's a strange place of dichotomy, which is one of the reasons why I like it.

I’d say technically D.C. is not a state and PA, VA, and MA are states.

Funny to see how Liberals deny the importance or even existence of IQ when it comes to education, genetics, and earnings, but not when it comes to politics.

BTW, I didn't know mean IQ statistics were taken on a state-by-state basis. Makes one think these are made up or something.

You're just mad because your state rocked the world with a record breaking drop in IQ. If there are more people like you in Alaska buying into that book, there's probably a good reason for that.

PA VA and MA are commonwealths. Not technically states.

What happened in Alaska? They dropped -22 in smartness rating. "Man it's fucking cold here, I'm getting the hell outta here, and moving to Colorado."

Politics don't determine how smart people are, but how intelligent people are more likely to see the mess that Bush has put this country in and NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!!!!!
