I would, but I'm hella allergic to them...they're awesome, though.

One word of warning, DON'T keep cavies and rabbits together. It's not a good mix. I know pet stores do it, but it's a bad idea.

I do a mean guinea pig impression though.

Oh I'm terribly allergic to them too- that why they are the best pets for me cause someone else cleans up their cage.

Why do rabbits and guinea pigs have "cage matches"?

I've had many of them over the years - best pets ever. My last one was given to a family friend (moved cross country - he was old) and she corrupted my sweet baby with her little whore cavys and he had 12 babies before he died

I've got two: Bug and The Dread Pirate Buttons.

Rabbits and guinea pigs have "cage matches" because rabbits are territorially aggressive, unless they're very young.

It's not a new PC term, that's always been the proper name for them (like canine or feline is proper for dogs and cats)

I had two when I was younger, their names were Scampi and Chips ( ) They both lived for a really long time (Chips 8 years and Scampi nearly 9) they were both lovely little souls, and they're often missed...

Peru is famous for their guinea pig cuisine. They have even created genetically modified supersized guinea pigs weighing up to 2 pounds in order to make all the removing of itty bitty bones more worthwhile.

I've had three!

Robin was the first. I've never met an animal with as much personality as she had. She'd squeek until I'dpick her up, follow me around when she was out of her cage, even come to her name. Best pet I've ever had.. and I've had tons of pets She injured herself (in her cage, no less) and passed away, though

Next were Jay and Silent Bob. They were cool pigs but never got over being scared of people, and prefered to just play with each other. Everyone in the house was too busy to care for a pet, though, so we gave them away,
