So does anyone ever see these little wormy "microbes", or dust particles, or whatever they are, floating accross your feild of vision, like there on your eyeball? I know this sounds a little crazy, but i see them, and my friends won't believe me.

Try pressing real hard on your eyeballs. That'll make them go away.

It's probably just a tumor pressing on the vision part of your brain.
Ignore it and it will go away soon.

Yep...they are called floaters...and most everyone has them, but I guess not everyone sees them. I see them all the time, but I wear contact lenses and they seem to be magnified on the contacts so they are easier to see.

Either that or you're body has been infiltrated by an alien micro - virus....call Mulder and Scully!

If I put my face against the mirror and stare I can kind of see something. It isn't a relfection. If I don't focus I see these little strand things floating by. shocked

I get'em.
I do believe it's on account of the contact lenses.

Or tiny eyeball monsters cursing me with bad vision. Whichever.

Floater are real...the are very small single celled organisms that live on the eye ball....I can see them move and even see the nucleus of them. I'm sure that people like me that wear hard contact lenses see them all the time....after 34 years of wearing the contacts, you learn to ignore the floaters and don't even think about them, until someone mentions them.

Get yourself some new eyes/ Trade the old ones in. You should be able to find someone who can do it for you.

Can anyone name the film that that is a refference to?

after you become familiar with all your floaters you'll notice most of them stay in the same positions relative to one another (like constellations) even when you move your eyes. at that point it's time to name them.

oh, and if they start racing around that's a sure sign you're holding your hit too long- exhale.

yes.

now my question:

sometimes, when i'm lying in bed, as i'm trying to fall asleep, i'll get this "thing." ... its like a quick electronic pulse in my head. it sounds like an electronic surge/shock.

anybody else get this and what the hell is it?

i NEVER hear anybody talk about it.
