Tea or Coffee?

It's my 4000thcomment so i'm starting a thread! This has been done before but the thread is 2 years old so lets start afresh!


Which do you prefer? Tea or coffee? And how do you like your chosen beverage?


At the moment i am partial to coffee (although i do like a good cup of tea)...but coffee seems to be doing it for me at the moment....i like it strong with a small amount of milk and definately no sugar
I've had several large cups today....so i'm a little caffeine hyper....hence this thread!

I love tea. My current favorite is Numi white tea with orange spice. Yum, yum. I also like all sorts of green teas and Yerba Mate too. And yes I live in the US where we consider eveything you can brew to be tea. I have a couple friends who moved here from London and I can't stand the tea that they drink.

As for coffee, I have never really been a fan. It is kind of like martinis for me... a drink I would like to like, but can't stand.

Coffee when it's cold or dark out. Tea when it's warm or light out. But then again I usually drink iced tea. Warm tea is good when you have colds but any other time I choose coffee over hot tea.

i like neither. but i've heard Mr. T prefers coffee.

for me, it's definitely tea. No milk, no sugar, but almost every kind of tea, green or with fruit or anything else

Never been a huge fan of coffe

Instant Coffee: a brand called Carton Noir, Milky, Lots of sugar!

Percolated: Peaberry!, damn that stuffs godly! Milky No sugar!

Tea. White, no sugar, "as it comes"; not too weak, clearly.

Coffee; not instant. I'm no coffee snob, but I can't get the taste for standard instant at all. Just a good filtered coffee will do. Black, (sometimes white) never any sugar.

Tea is my preferred choice. Everyday: Yorkshire. Otherwise, a good quality assam.

Strong Coffee. No milk.

Though Mocha can be so very good.

I only drink tea occasionally when I have biscuits to dunk. Ginger Nuts work best, as they don't dissolve after 0.001 seconds of immersion.

What does Mr. Coffee prefer?

I like tea, coffee tastes like flavored burnt twigs.

Smells nice tho...

I love coffee, but my rising blood pressure demands I drink tea.

I've been cycling through all sorts of green teas, but haven't found the perfect one yet.

Always tea, never coffee.

I am currently enjoying a Starbucks toffee nut latté as I do almost every day, because I am a dirty consumer whore and I like it.

Chamomile with milk and honey.


Or Iced Decaf with milk.



Caffeine gives me agita.
