Do you actually live in Reading? There's plenty of Hockey locally. Theres:

The Reading Royals in Reading, PA

The Hershey Bears in nearby Hershey, PA

The Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins under two hours away

and The Philadelphia Phantoms in Philly, about an hour & twenty minutes away.

There's plenty of hockey to watch.

Rumors are flying around that the players and owners are still trying to work out a deal.

Bill Guerin, vp of the players union cancelled an appearance today in Dallas. He hopped on a plane and the speculation is that Guerin, along with other players are working on a proposal.

Apparently both players and owners are working together behind Bettmans back.

Bettman needs to be fired. Lets call for the great one to be commish.

Sigh. This season's dead. The only hope is that there will be a 2005-2006 season. They should spend the rest of this time working out a good agreement, not waiting for the Fans to give up.
Furthermore, Bettman's just a tool of the Owners. This isn't an insult, it IS his job to speak on their behalf.
The NHL wasn't killed by greed... it was killed by arrogance. Each side had irrational expectations that the other side would cave from fan pressure. They didn't realize how few people cared.

It is sad that you feel the need to voice your opinions by putting other people down for their activity preferences. I love sports, in fact I love all physical activity. I have been playing hockey since I was 12 and I have great pride in that. I also work out a the Gym for 90 minutes a day, Which Im sure that you would also find meaningless. But I prefer to stay thin instead of becoming a fat blob. Playing sports gives me something more exciting to do than 90 minutes of repetitive cardio and weight training.

Who are you to point your finger at meaningless activities, when you too have a porn site subscription and your extracurricular activities include glass blowing and masturbation. Three activities which I see to be very fantasy orientated.

Next time dont be so quick to judge.

they make to much and games cost to much.

awesome looks like they figured it out hopefully this will lead to other pro lock-outs.

i don't understand how you can watch a person make millions of dollar when ya making very little in comparison and paying for it.
