Drinking one or two cups of coffee a day might help to reduce your risk of liver cancer.

A study of more than 90,000 Japanese found that people who drank coffee daily or nearly every day had half the liver-cancer risk of those who never drank coffee.
[...]
They found that the protective effect occurred in people who drank one to two cups of coffee a day and increased at three to four cups. They were unable to compare the effect of regular and decaffeinated coffee, however, because decaf is rarely consumed in Japan.

Any sunbathing mice might like to know that caffeinated sun cream can reduce the risk of melanoma.

This research doesn't appear to mention coffee enemas.

WTF...

Normally, people with advanced tumors, like Frizzell's, live only about five months after they are diagnosed. Frizzell, now 64, is thriving on a diet of fruits and vegetables plus a regimen of dietary supplements including pancreatic enzymes and - believe it or not - coffee enemas.

Youd rather have kidney stones than liver failure.

Coffee is also known to help prevent atherosclerosis.

However, coffee promotes bone loss, and healthy arteries aren't much use if you don't have any bones.

I predict a high-calcium coffee product fortified with fat-soluble vitamin C within the next 5 years.

that's my problem with the "health" industry. the thing that is good for one condition is bad for another condition. i'm not going to worry too much about it. at the end, i hope it comes out a wash.

You know, people only say that because the British like it, and the British only like it because they needed to support their colonial trade in India. And the British seem to be liking coffee more and tea less these days.
