Microsoft Antispyware beta1 (free on the microsoft website if you have a legit copy of Windows) AND Adaware AND Spybot, and run all three of them every day.

Jesus dude......I hope you don't spend all of your day running those, everyday!
The nice thing about the Microsoft version is that is has a realtime protector preventing spyware from returning to your pc. Plus it has a tracks cleaner for those trying to hide the fact that they hang out on a porn site all day! wink

I recommend using Hijackthis if you are using any of the others and they don't detect all of the spyware.

It is simple, easy to use, and there are many people out there who can analyze your system based on the scan results to help you delete anything you need to.

This has an Active-X Script blocker, which prevents scripts from running on your comp. But once a prog is already on your computer, then you would need something internal, I believe. Like Norton Anti-Virus.

The Problem is embedded crap, which Ad-Aware and Spybot ( i think) will remove, but not in total, but Hi-Jack will---repair key windows files which were altered.
