In my own defense . . . I called LAST WEEK and made an appointment with the groomers. Nick knew this.
I too am of the strong belief that just like children, if you can't afford to give your dog a healthy life, you souldn't have one.
I do not now, nor have I since I've owned Nuggies had a problem paying for his grooming. Being in Colorado and he being 7 lbs, I figured the extra fur would help the little bastard stay warm in our typically freezing place. Until the knots took on a life of their own, which is when I made the call.
Having ADD, and not being able to sleep are no reason to:
a) Act a fool.
b) post random threads about such foolage (remember this guy??)
OR C) give our dog a home made scalping just cuz it's something to do!!!
And sweetheart, the next time you decide to put our business on shout on the boards . . . at least tell the truth!!
On a lighter note - the pics don't do it justice. Have you ever known someone to shave their dog like a lion? Shave their whole body except the legs, tail and mane?? Yeah . . . we have a little 7 lb king of the jungle of our very own. I heart him.
My family dog is a terrier mix, and one day she went out and rolled in a bunch of burrs! She was so covered my mother said "fuck it" and took the clippers (the ones she cuts my brother's hair with) to the dog. My grandma had a poodle-grooming business when my mom was younger, so she has some experience with such things. The dog looked better with her fuzz all shortened up than she ever has. I bet your puppy is very relieved to be without all of that fur. ^__^
