there was someone pretending to be me on the internet. she was all into emo and stuff like that. she took pictures i had from all over the web and put em on a deviantart page (how its art, i don't know). it was really scary, she even had nudes of me i could swear i took down anywhere they ever existed. it was really creepy. then she'd write journal entries about weird stuff and said she was in high school and her name was kaylie. sometimes she'd say stuff that was going on in my life and integrate it into her little journal as if they were going on in her's, too

i got her kicked off only it took awhile for them to figure out who was the real me.

it was really scary... and now i never know if something like that will ever pop up again on another website. how do you think i go about finding out? and has this ever happened to anyone before?

yeah this just creeps me out, mostly because i wonder if its an amusement thing or if these ppl are really just absolutely psychotic and actually have issues seperating their lives from those of ppl they come across online. i know some people just do it to be pricks, others do it because somehow getting compliments on other peoples pictures makes them feel hot (??) but i think some acre actually seriously disturbed.

That bites it. I haven't had that exact scenario happen to me but I've been the target of a very obsessive person online before. Nothing like having people read your e-mail and tell you what's in it.

um hi, can we share this experience.

i also had someone who i added to msn after chatting with him on a msg board a few times and we had some common interests but he was really persistent and annoying so i removed him, and he emailed me like everyday and would say stuff about how i was online and ignoring him and why why why when we once had this conversation where i said this or that. ppl are creepy.

Mine was different in that it was an ex-gf who appeared pretty normal for 2 years and then after we broke up, would incessantly try to hack into all my e-mail accounts and was successful a few times. She also withdrew $1300 from my checking account, even though I never gave her account numbers or anything. It's still sorta ongoing, I keep waiting for her to show up on SG. It's really unnerving and if I told the whole story, you'd understand just how unnerving it is, but I'll spare everyone.

Oh well, Happy Valentines Day!!!!

It happened to me once too, sort of. I think it happens a lot because when I went to the site to have it taken down, they were prompt and courteous.

Man, If I only had the time to stalk someone properly. Between school, work, building a measly career, and trying to have something of a social life, I just can't seem to cut it as a stalker. Is the government giving out stalker grants again? How do these people pay for thier rent???

*google searching: stalker grants* Damn, nothing. Aw well...

Sure! I bet all those purchases made by "delusion from SG" in the name field will fly right under my banks radar. wink

Besides, the second you saw my bank balance, you'd be unimpressed again. tongue
