Of course if anyone associated with SG does a version of this song, it'll be rewritten as

This wheel's on fire,
Rolling down the road,
Best notify my next of kin,
Your head shall asplode!

So many great moments I can't pick just one. Such a fucking great show, even if I did want to bitchslap Alexei Sayle half the time he showed up. Plus what other program would have such folks as Motorhead and the Damned show up for the musical interludes....
Worth noting that 3 (all 4?) made cameos (along with Lemmy, who had more of a role) in "Eat the Rich". Not that stellar in retrospect, but if I had to choose between an evening with it and Drop Dead Fred (Phoebe Cates or no).....
BTW is the Dylan cover done by the Of-course-I'm-forgetting-their-name All-Stars from the riot episode available anywhere.

That cover track is cut out of the BBC release!

My orig tape of CASH is well worn and nearly destroyed in that spot.

"Ken Phillips Nice Twelve" was the band name.

My pal's mother threw up after watching the episode where they have co9lds, and they put Neil in a big bin bag and he kept sneezing.

So, she wasn't a fan, but I was. It's the kind of thing that I had to watch sneakily because I wasn't really allowed ot watch it when it was on.

SICK has one of the most classic lines.

Neil: I hope Mike comes back with the cure.

Vyv: No Neil is Madness this week.

As Madness plays Our House in the middle of a riot.

"This Wheel's On Fire"?????????

Actually, now I'm not sure if he wrote it or just did vocals on it. He's married to Jennifer Saunders.

He mighta sung on it.

Also, Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson recently decided to end their partnership, after 25 years.

They say that, approaching 50, they are too old to continue with the intensely physical, comic-book violence that has been their double act since the birth of so-called ‘alternative comedy’.

Edmondson said: “It’s definitely time to stop. We're getting too old. We both realised that the show wasn't as engaging as it used to be. We were starting to look a bit ridiculous.

"We're both nearly 50 and we're starting to feel slightly undignified talking about w**king and knobs constantly."

Crap frown I could have gone seen Bottom Live last year, but I thought "Nah, I'll go next time round".

I LOVE the Young Ones! And Vyvian too. blush

I loved it when they tried to nail all the dishes to the table. And that time that they found Buddy Holly hanging upside down in the room. biggrin
