im not sure what time i fell asleep, but i had comedy central on...and after the channel goes off the air, they have those goddamn paid programming things on. and this one in particular was interfering with my dream, because throughout my dream, all these people kept telling me how i could make my penis 25% larger. this got annoying very quickly. not because of the assumption that i need it, (which isnt to say that im not hung like a hamster) but because i got sick of hearing it. the only way i escaped from this was when i finally screamed at one person to, "shut the fuck up!" and actually mumbled loud enough to wake my psuedo-girlfriend up. she turned the tv off.

let this be a lesson to all of you.

yeah.
shes not technically my girlfriend, but were a bit closer than, "just friends."
and i refuse to use the terms, "friends with benefits," or, "fuck buddies," because they disgust me and are rather belittling of our relationship.

so we just tend to avoid labels when describing ourselves. i like psuedo-girlfriend just because it sounds kind of cute.

I listen to BBC Radio Four at night, which turns into the BBC Wolrd Service when R4 shuts down. So I get some freaky dreams, and the meds really make them odd.

Luckily, the BBC World Service tends not to have people asking me for money to make my p1n3s bi ggger, so that's not something that affects me. smile

Ditto – I sleep to the world servic every night, i find it very theraputic and relaxing – and I do always seem to be full of weird useless information, so if it's true that you take in things you hear while you sleep, I guess that would explain it.

Whats really bad is falling asleep with the TV on, and to wake up after programmes have finished just to hear the test tone – it's nightmarish! eeek

I have to fly to work every Monday morning and then fly home on Friday nights. This isn't that terrible, but there was a stretch where I was flying to Boston on the 6am shuttle every Monday. I'd wake up when we landed just before 7am and the timing of the wakeup, plus vibration of the plane caused a serious morning wood problem. For two weeks I was always the last one off of the plane after feverishly thinking about naked Bea Arthur etc. Waking up with wood right next to a complete stranger on an airplane is NOT the right way to start the work week.

I should never have told this story.

Test tone?!? Wow, blast from the past. We haven't had those in the USA for years. Around 1990 or so, every station went to showing infomercials, all-night news, or both through the wee hours.

I kind of miss the test patterns and funny noises. frown

We only get the test tone on S4C now, which is the Welsh version of Channel 4, and it's only for two hours. But the days of test cards were quite cool – but with BAD muzak!

My youth pastor once told us about how he had dozed off watching Good Will Hunting, and when his wife came to wake him up he almost told her to leave him the fuck alone.

sometimes I have nightmares about creepy shows on TV. imagine the creepiest (not quite scary, just creepy in every way), darkest, fuzz-induced, 60's tv show. I dream laying on the couch at 5 in the morning in a dark room with one of those playing.

worst nightmare ever. I guess you'd have to be there.

I kept falling asleep on the couch at bluvelvet's last Friday. He, his roommate, and some friends were watching a live Wilco performance. I guess I was talking about how nice the songs were while sleeping, but I don't remember any of it.
