Last night while drunk on Irish whiskey at yet another cookie cutter hotel bar playing bad music I quit smoking. I've been talking about doing this for a while, but now I'm hungover and really want a smoke. I routinely absolve myself of guilt for all sorts of shit "because I was hammered when I did/said/thought/ate/jumped off of/fucked/called that/her."

So, if I was overserved last night and quit smoking I can nullify it right? I'm not a loser for smoking today because tonight I'm going to officially quit while sober. This is my stance. Thoughts?

No no no. Cigarettes smell delicious. People who've just smoked cigarettes smell bad. By far the most inconvenient side effect.

When I went to a cafe at the golden nugget in Vegas, the waiting line for the non-smoking section was going down the hall to the casino...

But the smoking section had, like, four tables being used....

Is the smell of smoke really that disturbing, or do people just not have common sense?

but i am a profesional cigarette smoker, so i may be biased.

as an ex smoker of almost two packs a day, i can tell you that smoking while you`re drunk does, indeed, count.
it`ll just make it harder for you.
you`re obviously not ready to quit if you`re still lighting up, so just keep smoking until you hack something up with blood in it. if anything will make you want to quit, that will probably be it.
