I should also add that he needs a minimum of two hours to run around every day. His cage should be big enough to take three hops in (by law in the UK!), but ideally he should be out in a run or, if he's a housebunny like my girls, running around a room. The room MUST be bunny-proofed which means covering any wires with tubing, or tacking them up, beyond his reach (don't underestimate how far he can stretch, too!!), and any holes (like the back of the couch, etc) that you don't want him down, blocked up.

Well, he would definatly be a house bunny. But what about those bunny-leashes? Any thoughts or comments on those? Oh, and you are right, they do NOT like to be picked up. wink

I haven't got any experience with bunny leashes, for such a small breed they'll be hard to fit. And he really should be fine hopping around the house. If you secure the leash to something and he tries to jump, he can snap his backbone...not nice, as, if it doesn't kill him straight away, he'll have to be put to sleep straight away...

Well, around the house he will definatly be able to just run around, I was just thinking he might like to go outside occasionally...but maybe not if he might break his back!

I was planning the same for my girls to take them outside, but I'm not so sure any more. Some rabbits really like them, others really don't...*shrugs*

Before you ever let him out, though, make sure he's full up to date on his vaccinations. Also, learn which plants he's not allowed to eat. Rabbits don't realise when something can be poisonous to them, and will just eat it, with horrible results!

Its a good thing I have NO green thumb what so ever and don't have any plants around then!

You were right, that wasn't funny. Believe it or not, that joke is getting pretty old to me. And you are also right about him being adorable. His ears are funny and small.

Name him Jules and put Bad Motherfucker on his cage! wink

I raised rabbits for a couple of years. The only thing I can really tell you is beware of spraying. If he catches the right scent, those little buggers can spray piss really far! eeek

Yeah make sure you get him fixed. I had a male and he did this run-stop-skid-spray move that was crazy. He also tried to hump my ankles every now and then. Plus he'd bite the toes of any males who came to my apt.

I miss my bunny...

Yea, neutering is a must to stop spraying, and other bad behaviours, as well as eliminating the risk he'll get testicular cancer!

He is doing great, right now he is messing around in his little tube thing. When he hears something his ears get all cock-eyed.
