I believe that we are not defined by our gender or our "vessels" in any way and any of us could have been born redheaded, asian, male or female. It isn't what we are born into but who we really are and what we aspire to be that really counts. I believe that I could love anyone regardless of gender or appearance, depending on the depth and beauty of their soul.

That's actually a very romantic perspective and very sweet. Unfortunately, we who live in the real world, are affected by our environment and that includes the bodies we were born in. If I was better looking, I probably wouldn't be such a cynical, bitter, twisted individual because more people would want to be my friend and my confidence would therefore be higher and I'd get more shit done and succeed at more things and be generally happier and a nicer person... maybe. Unfortunately, I aint no oil painting and life's a bitch. In a nutshell, one's appearance definitely affects one's personality. Thank you all and good night kiss

I dated an MTF for a month or two. She was a really cool person. So, yeah, I've got no problem with it.

As long as the parts match up and they can meet the rest of my standards, why not?

Sure, why not? I've found some transexuals attractive, just as I've found 'normal' (ick, I hate that word) people attractive.

I'm an equal opportunities kinda gal.

I didn't have an easy childhood and have seen a lot in my years. We allow these things to affect us, however that only affects our habits and creates fear. The true beauty of our "selves" is evident to those who love us.

I know what it is like to be called ugly and dirty and many other names, and still carry some insecurities from it but I try not to be embittered or hateful. We can be whatever we want to be and if we choose to, we can leave all of those weaknesses behind.
