The best part of that clip is the look on Steve Harvey's face at the end.

I'm white, and I can't dance for shit.

So back in my raving days (in my misspent youth, you see), I became excellent at glowsticks instead. I'd practice in my livingroom every night for the weekend. At raves, lots of people on drugs said I was really good. Sober people would shout over the music, "How are you so fucking fast?" Lots of girls asked for beginners lessons. It was neat to be admired for something on a dancefloor.

I tried actually dancing a lot during those years too, looking for something else to do when I didn't feel like throwing $2.50 away on another 3-hour pair of glowsticks, but I continued to suck ass. It was like a mental block, or some sort of trauma rising up in my subconscious from my childhood, or maybe I warped the bones in my hips and spine from skateboarding accidents in high school. There's just no human way for me to move unselfconsciously to a bass drum beat.

Recently, I got over my unselfconsciousness and just don't give a fuck anymore. I'll stand cold still in the middle of a Pixies concert while people are dancing around me and just enjoy the music. To hell with you dancers and your "anybody can do it" attitude!

I have no interest in dancing...whatsoever...period.

If you have seen me dancing, I can guarantee I was drunk and a woman made me do it.

Okay, you're right, but throw white people a bone whydontcha? Are you going to tell me that squaredancing, the minuet and the running man don't count? Because in every group of white people, there is one funny guy who can (and will) do the running man.
