I guess it's the whole us-vs.-the-man way it's being presented. That's certainly a big part of the story, but it's more inportant in other ways - for pushing pornography away from the mob and into the hands of legitimate businessmen, for example. I plan on seeing it having read the story in this book, but I'm not particularly interested in watching ex-porn stars speaking over old footage of sweaty preachers, as though the whole thing were a battle they had arranged and won rather than a really strange mass phenomenon.
