Holy shit dude. You need to quit feeling sorry for yourself and wake up. You have a place to live and the gift of free will to do anything in the world you want. You just need to be self reliant and self motivated. I had no motivation when I was about to graduate high school so I joined the Marine Corps. Well after a few years and a war later, I came home. With no job, no friends, and I just received my last pay from the Corps. I fucking moved 2000 miles in hopes of starting a life and went out and hustled my name and resume for 3 weeks. It happened. I got a job. Granted I could've taken one from day one at McDonald's but my motivation drived me to find something better in myself. Don't hold yourself back or sell yourself short. But don't let yourself rot either. If it means taking a job at McD's to cover bills until you find what you're looking for so be it. But you'll never find what you are looking for on SG. Get off of the site and be productive. Just remember that it can always be worse, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Make a deal with yourself that you won't focus on the bad for, like, a month. If - after a month - you still think being a mopey, whingey poohead is still a valid way to live your life, you're officially earned it. Go buckwild with the emo.

you need a project to build self-confidence. see how fat you can get in 2 weeks or balance $3.00 worth of quarters on your elbow and try and catch them.

so there's been a lot of good, heartfelt advice here and you've snubbed your nose at all of it. what's really your problem? what are you really asking for?

Well, I'll say this much.

I'd rather have nothing and have my health than have everything and not have my health.

As it is, I have almost nothing and don't have my health either. Things have been pretty bad for awhile now.

Your life is what you make it. Feel as sorry for yourself as you choose to. As long as your heart beats in your chest you have time. Many people are running out of it, quickly. People are dying as I type this. Lose your sense of pride and take a job at McDonalds. Write long letters, by hand, to the people that you cry over at night. Burnt bridges can only be resurrected, you have nothing to fear.

Just my two cents, what the fuck do I know.

I was going to say something, but delusion hit it on the motherfuckin' nose.

what you should do is give up your place of residency to me since you have no need for it. that should pretty much solve everything.

and in all seriousness you should take all the advice in here seriously. youre either joking around or you really do want some good advice.
here's mine: learn to be humble.
I simply cannot give you any better advice than what delusion and idjiit already have.

If you have any time you could try volunteering for some soup kitchen or sick children's ward or something.

You missed your sentancing!? That was a bad move dude.

Let me put it to you like this. I'm 30. I've been on dialysis for 9 years (if you don't know what that is, look it up). I spent a good 6 of those convinced that my life was over. The only thing I had was a place to live, my mother and a few very good friends who didn't give up on me, Sometimes, though, I did give up on them because I was so convinced that I was completely fucked that I wouldn't appreciate how hard they were trying to help me.

Then about two years ago I had lung surgery, during which doctors put a traecheotomy in my throat (don't know what that is? I've got pictures in my profile). I never knew how bad things could be until I was lying in hospital bed for 30 days unable to move, and unable to speak. And you know what happened? Nothing. Nothing changed, and I realized nothing was ever going to change until I made it change. I lost way too much of my life because I didn't do something with what I had. Life keeps on going, even when it looks like it's over. It either passes you by, or you become a part of it.

So you're going to jail I take it. You'll get out. Stay alive as best you can, and do what you can to educate yourself. Prepare yourself for when you get out. When you do, do what you can to stay out, and educate yourself some more. Do something with your life. You're the only one who can.

No, but getting close....and youth is overrated. There's always a point where it's simply too late for some things.

Uh, dude, you're 21 years old. I have t-shirts that are older than you. surreal

The way I see it, you have several options:

1) Suicide. Upside: this will immediately solve all your problems forever. Downside: you'll be dead. And there will be a really big mess on your carpet.

2) Prostitution. Upside: you get to have lots of sex, and get paid for it. Downside: you get to have lots of sex with 50-year-old men who never bathe, and syphilis.

3) Organized crime. Upside: you could make a lot of money if you go this route. Downside: you could end up in jail, or sleeping with the fishes.

4) Disorganized crime. Upside: Not as many people to piss off and potentially get whacked by. Downside: Not as lucrative as organized crime, and when you end up in jail, your likelihood of being traded amongst your fellow inmates for cigarettes is much higher. And let's face it: I've looked at your profile, and you WILL be getting traded for cigarettes.

5) Homelessness. Upside: little work required. Downside: well, you're homeless. Duh!

6) Slowly starve to death. See #1.

7) Quit wallowing in self-pity, get off your ass, and find work. Upside: this is your best option. Well, really, it's your ONLY option. Downside: you might have less to whine about in net-based forums. Wait, is that really a downside?

i'd make a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich on toast cause those are always good, unless your a vegan/vegitarian then your boned.

seriously with nothing left to loose, now is the perfect time to do somthing you have always wanted to do, or grab a friend in a similr situation, or go by yourself and go on a road trip, any/everywere, then find a place that interests you and just stay there, meet people, and live there for a while, then when life sucks again rinse and repeat.

Rock bottom is the firmest place to stand back up on.

It should be obvious to you by now that:

1) there are many people on this board who've been at least as bad off as you, many worse
2) there are many people on this board who are willing to give you advice
3) if you are going to troll for sympathy under the guise of looking for help, you're not going to get either.

I think idjiit nailed it.

Have fun being miserable, you've earned it.

6 feet under is the real 'rock bottom'. If your not there, you're not at the bottom.

There is always work to be found, and their ain't no shame in any job, you do what you gotta do.

And you can always be guarenteed, that there are lots out there who *wish* they only had your problems.

As for getting locked up. As a small man who is perfect 'bitch' material, I've always planned, should I ever be incarcerated, is to let all the other inmates see me as I smear my own feces on myself and in my mouth.
