A great movie, probably an Oscar board sweeper, but the excitement displayed by the crowds is embarrassing. Maybe womens boxing draws those sorts of reactions from fight crowds in the States but it would never be anything other than an undercard fight in the UK during which most of the crowd would be at the bar. Polite applause out of respect from a handful of the crowd would be the most they might expect, certainly not enthusiastic cheering of her nickname which nobody would know.
The crowds really are the films biggest let down in the film but don't manage to detract from some fairly good fight action.
