You know what I'm talking about. You know you love it. I think Final Fantasy II just barely edges it out for the "best SNES title of all time" trophy. Who else here is a fan?

I don't think ff2 edges it out. there's some pretty fierce competition, though. I could go with super metroid, too.

I'll agree with you for the most part. Both were excellent games. I'd actually say Tales of Phantasia for the Super Famicom was a better RPG than either, but it never made it to the US.

Tie between Chrono Trigger (Magus pwnz j00) and Final Fantasy 3 (or 6 in american version, i'm referring to the one with a female as a lead)...

Getting multiple endings on both of them was a blast....

You can't call yourself awesome until you've acheived the ultimate ending.

Final Fantasy II? You've got to be joking. That game is trash, and doesn't even compare to CT.

Have you even played SD3? Or Secret of Mana? Or Yoshi's Island? Or Super Metroid?

Poor judgement my friend, poor judgement.

CT was the #1 reason for not doing my homework in middle school. I was a little let down by Chrono Cross.

The different scenes for whatever characters you collect hardly count as different endings. confused

the game play in seiken densetsu 3 was way ahead of anything else available at the time. good fun. and I'll say it... super metroid is probably one of the best video games on any system.

I don't think is was a bad game, I spent a good amount of time playing it when I should have been doing more important things as well, but it's no chrono trigger. Yes, the soundtrack was impressive, well except for that weird rock opera sequence.

yes, and yes. Seiken Densetsu 3 only comes second in my books because of the supreme emotional attachment i have to A Link to the Past.

Nah Final Fantasy II is one of my favorites for a reason but I really do love it and FFIII. I also own Secret of Mana and Super Metroid. Both great games as well.
